Dinky is a product of RealEdge Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “us”). This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Dinky mobile application and website (collectively, the “Service”).

Information We Collect#

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and profile photo when you register via email (one-time passcode), Sign in with Apple, Google, or Facebook.
  • Booking information — court selections, session dates and times, and participant details.
  • Payment information — processed securely by our payment partner. We do not store full card numbers.
  • User-generated content — reviews, ratings, and any content you post about courts or sessions. This content is visible to other players and may be retained in anonymized form after your account is deleted.
  • Communications — messages you send to us via support or contact forms.

We also collect information automatically, including:

  • Device type, operating system, and app version.
  • Device identifiers and push notification tokens, used to deliver booking confirmations, reminders, and service notifications.
  • Usage data such as courts viewed, links clicked, and features used, collected via our own systems to understand how the app is used and improve the experience.
  • Crash reports and performance diagnostics to help us improve the app.

Location Data#

With your permission, we use your device's location to show nearby courts and open play sessions. Location data is used only while the app is in use and is not stored or shared beyond what is needed to provide this feature. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.

How We Use Your Information#

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Process bookings and payments.
  • Send booking confirmations, reminders, and receipts.
  • Respond to your support requests and inquiries.
  • Improve the performance, reliability, and features of the Service.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

Third-Party Services#

We use trusted third-party services to operate the platform. These include:

  • Apple, Google & Facebook — for authentication. Their use of your data is governed by their respective privacy policies.
  • Payment processor — to securely handle transactions. Your payment data is transmitted directly to and stored by our payment partner.
  • Sentry — for crash reporting and performance diagnostics. Sentry may receive device and session identifiers, app version, and error context to help us diagnose issues.

We do not sell your personal information, track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, or share your data with third-party advertisers.

Data Sharing#

We share your data only as necessary to provide the Service:

  • With court owners to fulfill your bookings (name and booking details only).
  • With our payment processor to complete transactions.
  • With law enforcement or regulatory authorities if required by applicable law.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you before your data is transferred.

Cookies & Tracking#

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences and analyze site traffic. You can control cookie usage through your browser settings. For more information, see our Cookie Policy.

Data Retention#

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Booking records may be retained for up to 7 years for accounting and legal compliance purposes. After account deletion, we will remove or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where longer retention is required by law.

Data Deletion#

You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time through your profile settings in the app, or by contacting us. We will process your request within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or to resolve outstanding disputes.

Your Rights Under the Philippines Data Privacy Act#

As a user in the Philippines, you have the right to access, correct, object to the processing of, and request deletion of your personal data under R.A. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012). You may also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@dinky.ph.

Children's Privacy#

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy#

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
